Stupid Question ? - SV650.org

Hi, I know this is a stupid question but im gonna ask anyways

Is there such thing as the low fuel reserve switch on the sv650? Im only asking cus on my learner bike it had one and i havent noticed one on my sv and its to cold and wet to go and check

There is not a reserve switch. The low fuel light is your only indicator. You don't have to go outside to read your manual.

No reserve fuel switch just a low fuel warning light which flashes at first then stays on when you REALLY need to find a garage

Depends on the year. K3 and up don't flash at all.

There's a number of threads on how much fuel/how many miles you have left when the fuel warning light comes on; on my naked K3 the other day I managed 27 and still had a couple of litres left... just as well as the first petrol station I passed was shut... cos it was taking a delivery of fuel... D'uh...
