For the love of the SV.

Sometimes I love my Sv too much.....

But one thing really bugs me at the mo.
It's these EX-SV owners telling me about limits and things I already know. I mean OK you've "moved on" to your race reps and big bore IL4s but why bore the crap out of us with the constant besmirching of our beloveds. They're like blokes who left a fantastic relationship for a better looking bird but still hanker after their old flame. We all know you just miss your throbbin' baby twin and regret getting sucked into some high interest finance deal so that you can hold your head up at the local bike meet. "Look I've got a GSXR/R6/CBR/ZX/RSVR I'm not weird or different I'm just like you honest....." Pathetic really

Can't say it bothers me...or at least it didn't until now

I didn't even say anything about these pointy model riding johnny-come-latelys that refuse to pay homage to the best and original shape SV. The bike that started it all and as such is a cult bike for now and everymore. These people bother me not......... much....

I post on a couple different SV boards and see this type of thread regularly.

It kind of sounds like you're insecure about riding a 'smaller' bike... why should you give a rats-ass what anyone else thinks about your bike? Even on my Vespa I have a great time.

Ps. I couldn't care less about what other guys think about my bike, it's not guys I care about impressing... and do you think girls care what bike you ride?!?!?

None at all, the only K5 that looks good is the black sv1000s, the rest of them just look cheap.
