Default Bloody idle screw!

Because of the cold weather, I need to turn the idle up on my K2.

Can I budge the screw? No I sodding well cant!

I've tried WD40, gripping the screw with pliers, but it wont move a mm.

Anyone help with this one? I dont want to round the screw off.....

mine took ages to budge, used wd40 on it too. Find it easier using my hand on the end of the screw rather than trying to turn it with a screwdriver, once its free it stays free

Sorry for a slight hijack, but what should the bike idle at? I'm sure mine is too low

1300. Probably want it a little higher at this time of year though.

Mine normally idles at around 1100. But what with the cold weather, I have to have my choke almost fully on for a good 10 mins.

Mine is about 1100??? It used to be closer to around 1400 before the 1st service, he must of adjusted it too low.

Stick it back up to 1400 for the cold weather.
Mine was happily at 1100 before winter really got going, then with the cold it didn't feel right, so wound it up.

Yay! Sorted it. The silver dream machine is now idling at a happy 1500rpm.

How did you loosen the screw in the end.

Did you do the whole screw or just force it a bit. I did mine whilst dismantling the carbs it pays to take it right out using WD40 & scotchbrite to clean then graese it up. The crud / rust just comes back if you don't.
