I must of gone insane over the last few years and not really noticed but Ive decided to do a days course at jimmy fireblades wheelie school!
I figured its more dangerous me sitting here with a dvd my mate lent me on how to wheelie then to get a professional to show me the way its really done so when I get paid im going. The missus is thrilled with this idea, getting the silent treatment at the moment. women ![]() I seem to have this daily mental battle with myself, on one half is my sensible side telling me to slow down and buy a fiat panda and on the other is this biking demon compelling me to sign up to wheelie school, do stoppies, burn outs and buy an R1. ah well ![]() |

am I missing something (quick check and everything seems there). The missus is giving you the silent treatment, she's not thrown you out on your ear. Sometimes the silent treatment can work in your favour, you can buy things for the bike now without the arduous consultations!!
![]() ![]() By the way, the mental torture thing, happens to us all I reckon. But who wants to be sensible and boring? R1 wins everytime

A 3 inch wheelie! That is really poor, im hoping for better than that! I never knew it was on tv I would of loved to of seen that, Im going no doubt and will post the pics once Ive been.
Im tempted to use my own bike but then the risk of dropping it is in the back of my mind, I would rather know what my own bike can do rather than a bandit but the method must be the same Im thinking? |

Heh, I was doing 3 inch wheelies pretty much everytime I went out riding before I adjusted my preload.

![]() Don't take your own bike as the bikes they use have sensors on the back which cuts the throttle if you tip up too much - not sure if the sensors ever get used or its just for peace of mind!

You'll run out of revs and have to change gears sooner on the SV. The theory is the same though. The SV is a bit lighter as well, so what you learn at the wheelie school will be more easily applied to the SV. |
