Hi all,
Touring Kit, right ok, so I didn't have the nozzle bit to top up the huge tank at the back of my number plate, so I waited for it to arrive from Scottoiler themselves for .75p So started to fill the tank up and also noticed the RMV filling up too. Cool I thought - job done, but now I have what look slike an air block in the pipe that goes from the huge tank to the RMV??? Any ideas anyone - on how to get this air out? apart from sucking the oil through? Mass |

Im still fuzzy why anyone would want a RMV anyway. My std scotoiler lasts well over a thousand miles, and my chain is well lubricated set at 2 thank you.
As for your dalilama, the only way to remove air locks on the scotoiler is to purge the system. If its the same as the std kit, you use the oil bottle and the plastic tube. It attaches to the rubber boot thing on the resivor...set it to purge and away you go. HTH |

I take it you mean "Prime" when you say Purge? Cheers - Mass |
