speed cam on A30

just been down to newquey in the car and aparently thires a speed cam at the bottom of a hill and then the hil goes up... behind a bridge aparently

but my dad recons its not working do any of you guys know if it is ?

Y'mean the one near Okehampton? That was at the bottom of a hill, behind a bridge, faced west. Removed last year. Only three cameras that I know of on the A30. One is in Cornwall, at the end of Goss Moor, about a mile or two west from the Iron Bridge - still on the single carriageway, about a mile or two before Indian Queens. It faces west. Second also in Cornwall, at the bottom of a hill a few miles beyond (ie west of) Launceston - I forget the name of the village. Faces west. Other is at a dangerous junction for Tedburn St Mary about 10 miles west of Exeter, it faces east.

what ever happened to that bloke who made it his mission to kill speed camera's, he was great! you cant beat a gatso with a burning tyre round it

oh he is still around i am sure of it, cos two cameras got done dow by me last week

i know exactly where you mean. . . the road just goes into dual carageway so as you go to overtake that slow moving tractor - you get a flash from a camera hiding behind the trees.
