I have the same on my bike and it never went flat once, even with loads of short journeys.
If its the lights dipping a bit on idle, thats fairly normal on many SVs. If its because you battery is going flat, it could be the regulator at fault or the battery on its way out.

Alarm can drain a battery if it's left sat... But with the grips, as TSM says a healthy SV can run plenty of aftermarket stuff without draining the battery. I have mine all wired into the headlight circuit so it's ignition switched, and so that if I'm conerned about the battery (starting from a hard cold, or making short journeys) I can easily turn the lot off.

The battery is only a reservoir for the current that the bike's charging system provides, if the level of consumption is too great then a larger capacity battery isn't the answer, as more will be taken from it than the alternator can put back in.
With the accessories that you list the standard system, if functioning correctly, should do the job, but bear in mind that there isn't much capacity spare.
