Default META Alarm....HELP with immobiliser!

My bike has an M300RC immobiliser/alarm. I went to the pub 4 miles away on the bike, and when I went to start it to go home......I pressed the keyfob and the immobiliser didn't beep; the bike wouldn't start. This also happened using the spare keyfob which I carry in my jacket.

I have had to push the bloody bike thsoe 4 miles back which might not sound too farbut took me 2 hours and I'm bloody tired now!

If anyone with experience with these alarm can uncover the problem I would be very grateful lol will save me another 5 mile push tomorrow the other way to the garage!

Cheers

you should have an override code,
not sure about your particular model, but my one does,
it should be on a red card, and it will tell you how to override the immobiliser in the manual.

Thanks mate, I've had a look and found the red card with the barcode on, but I wasn't given the manual with the bike

Can I be a proper idiot and ask how to use that code to override the immobiliser lol.

easy

you trun the in the lock once for number in the code, IE

if the code was say 1349

you would first turn the key once, then trun the key in the lock three times, then four times etc..... you should get a funny beep once you have entered it all correctly.

Just been and tried that... doesn't seem to work

Am I doing it wrong going once, twice, 3 times, etc?

EDIT: There are little stars in it and gaps represented by _ in between the numbers lol

Was a bit stupid posting that I spose but I'm panicking as I need it to start for work tomorrow!

When i had mine, i had to let the LED flash for the number of times corisponding with the number of the code EG the code number was 5, the led would need to flash 5 times etc etc

Cheers I will try that tomorrow, get someone else to watch the LED for me because it's in the tail light, anything else it could be in case this doesn't work?

Thanks for all the replies anyways hopefully this method works!

ok sorry got it a icckle bit wrong
here are the instructions word for word

1. turn the ignition on (the led will be on).

2.turn the ignition off within 10 seconds (the led will flash an even sequence).

3. turn the ignition on when the led has flashed the number of times corresponding to the first digit of your code.

4. turn the ignition off within 10 seconds, the led will start a new flash sequence again

5. turn the ignition on when the led has flashed the number off times corresponding to the second digit.

6. continue with the procedure until entering the fifth digit

7. when the fifth digit has entered, the the code is correct the system will disarm

job done

It seems very strange that your key fobs have both packed up together or that your alarm immobiliser has just decided to give up when it was perfectly ok when you rode to the pub.

I would be looking more at kill switches and mates with silly grins on their faces
