Did anyone watch this last night???
Neil Morrissey's Secret Wed 26 Apr, 11:40 pm - 12:35 am 55mins Film star Jane Seymour discloses one of Hollywood's best-kept secrets - British actor, Neil Morrissey is said to be the man responsible for conquering a million wrinkles and re-launching a thousand careers. He makes grand claims that he can reverse the skin ageing process. Through scientific study he has created The Essence, an exotic blend of totally natural ingredients guaranteeing everlasting wrinkle free skin, promising to deliver a fountain of youth in a jar. This documentary reveals a hidden personal life that began in Jordan 20 years ago, unveiling, for the first time, Morrissey's career as an ethno-botanist, charting a lifetime's work that culminates in a scientific discovery that could change the cosmetics industry forever. Some strong language. [S] Subtitles Stereo Widescreen Website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree/tv/neil_morrissey.shtml This was AMAZING.... Basically, it covers his work over the years as a top sciencetist, him finding plants and studying them. He finds a trible who befriend him and give them their secrets for looking so young (Tribe was known as the Beautiful people as all the women etc were stunning!!!!). Its Urine and a Plant mixed. The weirdest point... Watching a women take off bandages with this formula in it, and actually watching her wrinkles dissapear right in front of you, it was amazing!!! However.... Once he went public, the other big companies broke into his lab, stole the location of the tribal village. Neil went back there (Tribe has been there for hundreds maybe thousands of years) to tell them what had happened, and the tribe had deserted the village. He basically took their tradition and secret, told the world, now is paying the cost of betrayl. But, from what i saw, it really really worked... Very worth watching if it comes on again |

Dude, believe me, this was all legit and really happened..
When he was taking the film crew out to the village initially, they were greated by people on camals (think Arabs) who stopped them. Neil ended up riding off for 3 days with them leaving the camera crew to simply "follow a track" He then nerver said a word about it. Hes a very very clever bloke, weird, but clever. AS i say, have you seen Jayne Seymor? Shes 65 now I think!! She uses it......... Its one of those things, sounds to good to be true, but its a complete revelation. Did you know 80% of plants have now been researched yet as well. Neil spent 20 years on this. Was simply amazing to watch, the life and destruction a simple cream has brought (well, it wasn't a cream, it was a mix or Urine and the Plant as I say. He's been working on creating it so us westerners can use it. He himself, when he drank it at the tribe village collapsed as our bodys can't take it. This tribe has been using itfor generations though). And really, the women in this village were stunning, and the blokes wern't exactly "ugly" either. It really was that interesting, enought to keep me up till nearly 1am anyway!! |

My GF just summed it up perfectly (lol, were talking about it)...
I think he was very niave to the greed of the western world. You can't keep secrets like that. Westerners keep digging until they get the complete truth and destroy everything!! How true.... |

Actually, im being quite serious about this.
Trying to find out more. JUST FOUND OUT IT IS INDEED A HOAX.. Nice way for my TV license money to go. Stayed up late (GF was up at 6am!!!!) and wasted a mornings work as I was so interested. GRRRRRRRRRRR, added my point of view on BBC, not impressed. If i'd known it was a hoax maybe i could have got some decent sleep last night and work done today ![]() |
