Default What else do I need other than a carb balancing tool?(pics)

I'm going to replace my current standard carbs with
dynojet kit fitted carbs set up for a K&N & Remus Slip-on. (Stage 1 & 3).

It came with a Dyno chart print out from the SV that it was fitted @ 85 bhp

I have a carb balancing kit. but what else will I need ?

I keep reading about a T Piece that's needed ? Or is this just on the American SV ?

If I do need this T Piece then please let me know what size & where to get this.

Many Thanks

you may have to get the carbs set up for your bike as it will be differnt from the other bike, bu im not sure how the dynojet kit works so not sure if anything would be needed problery just take old ones off and new ones on.

You don't have to use the T connector. But in order to keep the engine on for more then a few minutes while you sync the carbs, you will need the T connector. It applies to both american and euro versions. The california SV is different, so the directions at bluepoof will be confusing. For the rear carb, you want to tap into the small tube in on the bottom side of the fuel tank leading to the rear carb. put a T connector here. Below is the T tap tube.

Who told you that?

All you are doing is making life a bit easier for when you need to balance the carbs. Nothing to do with power increase etc?

Cheers

Oh I see. Quite right in that respect.

85 bhp with a slip-on. That dyno must be the most optimistic dyno in the UK .

M4 system , JHS racing stage two cams, BMC RS race and setup by JHS racing, my bike made 79 bhp at the rear wheel.

Cheers

I will scan it tommorow and post it.

Sounds strange to me as well.

But the guy had exactly the same mods as me - so his carbs must be perfectly set up for my bike aswell ? (that's what I think anyway

I see so I only need this T - piece if I want to keep the engine running for a while as it runs out of fuel ?

If I'm quick than I won't need the T piece and can just connect the carb balancer only yes?

sorry this is too technical for me...
