Default 7500 mile service Should I do it myself?

Although the bike is less than 2 years old it didn't come with the original warranty card, so it's probably not under warranty anyway.

Good question, let me know what you decide & how you get on. Mine's just had the 4k service. Mine is under warranty, but I know a friendly mechanic that will stamp the book (just a shame he works at a H*nda stealership).

Depends how competant a mechanic you are! Mine passed 7500 a month or 2 ago - IIRC the only thing that may throw you is the throttle body sync, but apart from having to buy vacuum gauges, I didn't find this particulary difficult.

OK no way then - I'll try & get Steve Jordan's to do the tricky bits and let me do the easier bits. I'd printed off the service schedule - better go and read it

It will still be under warranty regardless of whether you have the card or not.

When you bring it in let me know the VIN and i will change the details of ownership over to yourself so the warranty is in your name.

Well big up Steve Jordan's Not what Crescent told me

If it keeps it in warranty they can have the whole job.

Just be gentle with the bill I've got tyres to pay for as well!
