Default SHOUTY SHOUTY INSURANCE POLICY EXTRAS

Just reading through all the recent accident post and it struck me that many don't seem to include legal protection when specifying their policy It may be a cost thing at time of purchase, but I do think it very beneficial as in a non-fault accident they seem to fight for you tooth and nail. The other major add on is recovery and I have an all vehicle, this being private vehicles, car or bike,or any vehicle I am driving for pleasure/private or commuting [£97] bearing in mind I have 3 cars and a bike

What percentage don't have these extra covers and the reason for not having them? CURIOUS

When I was shopping around for mine this year, every place quoted with it inclusive, and not all even had it as a removable option. Not that I'd remove it, myself, it's not generally expensive and it's potentially fantastic.

Having said that, only 3 companies would insure me, so that's not strictly representative of the industry

I was just about to sing the praises of legal protection myself (White Dalton looked after me very well), then I had a thought...

If you do get knocked off and it isn't your fault can't you just get on the 'phone to a law firm yourself?

I mean, they don't take you on anyway if they don't think they have a chance of winning... and they do make a lot of money if they 'win'
