Default .org Skiing/Boarding/Blading holiday?

Its been a while since I have graced the slopes, my normal Skiing/Boarding/Blading buddy has been running his own business the past few years and cannot afford the time ... and I don't know anyone else that is into it

So - are there any Skiing/Boarding/Blading bods on here? We could have a .org alpine holiday

I am thinking in the next month or so so if I hurt myself it doesn't really matter?!?

Learning to snowboard is on my "To do before 25" list and I'm rapidly running out of time

Is it as hard as they say

Would love to, but after just returning from a skiing hol with a broken bone in my thumb I have been told I should NOT consider skiing until at the earliest next season

I did the 'learn to snow-board in a day' course at wakefields Xcape indoor snow slope, it was awesome fun, though saying that i was rather sore the next day, knee pads is the key for my next snow-boarding adventure me thinks!!

I have tried all 3 of the above, snowboarding is the 'coolest', but I actually prefer Blading as basically it is the easiest to physically do and has the least faffing with gear ...

These are snow-blades ... basically mini skis http://www.abajo.co.uk/images/2005/11/blading.jpg they are cracking fun
