Default Misting under Rev Counter glass 2005 type

Just got second hand SV650 Naked 2005 model with 10,000 miles on the clock, the glass/plastic cover over the rev counter and LCD display
has misting on the underside. can someone please advise on taking
the clock covers apart so that I can clean the underside of
the glass.
thanks,
Tomis

quite simple to take apart, take clock off, undo from rear, clock comes apart (front, rear, and internals) remove the circit board and lcd panel and wipe the inside of the perspex window. if i remember rightly there is a foam type gasket in between where the case fits together, check this is intact because the moisture is getting if from somewhere.

I have the same problem with the headlight lenses on the Stilo, always fogging up with condensation! Purge the clock with nitrogen then seal it with a sealant to keep the nitrogen in and the damp out!
Don't know if thats possible but worth a thought!

Thanks for all the info, I was hoping it was a simple job,
but it's an expensive bit of kit to mess up.
Thanks again,
Tomis

What I meant to say was that i'm glad it's an easy
job to do, I just wanted a little advice before starting
in case it was one of those jobs best left to the experts.
