Altberg boots
I'll pop this in idle banter so more folks will see it. Just seen this message on another site in case it interests anyone.
I've had some Altberg boots for a few years now and they are thoroughly recommended. http://www.altberg.co.uk/ Anybody in the Midlands fancy a pair??? Then you'll be pleased to know that the Alt-Berg fitters will be at the 'BirdFair' at Rutland Water on Friday 17th until Sunday 19th August. Where you will be able to be measured up for a pair boots that will then be hand made for you....  This will save a long ride up to Richmond in N Yorkshire just to get measured.. (you can't bring them home with you...it takes about 6 weeks to make a pair  ) These boots seem to get rave reviews from the likes of Ride etc and are the boot of choice for many professionals the world over including the Police and Military..
