I have the Oxford analogue one also. Why is the new digi one so poor compared to the old one?

It seems to not heat the controllers up as much, plus the cut out voltage drop sensor seems to do its own thing. Even on a full charged bike I'm lucky if I can get them to say on more then 2 minutes.

There is another option. Save your money and hassle and just fit a set of Daytona heated grips, Oxford ones are rubbish

Yea, but now the grips are on the bars and glued in place, they wont be as easy to get off as your normal every day OEM grip...

Oxford said a new digital controller is £23 or there abouts. Well, sod that!

Sharp knife if they are scrap, as easy as taking any other grip off.

I'll test them and find out if they are duff first, if not I'm not gonna take them off. Cost more money to buy a whole new set rather than just build a new controller

But then

I start my PhD soon, and get some money

hmm

:D

I just replaced mine with a toggle switch, they were always full power or off anyway.
