Read the manual theres clear instruction in there but basically there is a notched ring above the spring. It is stepped to compress the spring more or less. You need to wind that with a tool that should be included in your tool kit. Looks like a hook.

As Britney says £70 odd for new springs or you might find some in the for sale section...
For example http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=136562 - the springs would be suitable for your weight but they may be sold. This advert also has some Racetech Gold-valve Emulators which improve the damping, but push the price up somewhat. Just an example that you can get parts second hand. |
