Re: Radiatior fan not working.
If i was you i would run it up a bit hotter as it won't boil untill it gets to about 130 degrees.
If it does need a switch,I have just checked and i have got one and you can have it free if you want to pick it up. Cheers Tony |
Re: Radiatior fan not working.
Nice one ..... obviously I'll give you some beer tokens for it ....
The next time I'm out I'll run it hot, and see what happens .... |
Re: Radiatior fan not working.
Mine kicks in at 100 or it does now anyway as it was'nt working. Got that part you need from ebay for a fiver and all is working. Mind you did'nt need it for over a year but only changed it after I was told it was'nt working by the garaage or would'nt have been any the wiser.

Re: Radiatior fan not working.
With a bit of luck, the used switch that Tony is kindly letting me take from him works ok……. So, whats the easiest way to drain, and then fill and in particular bleed the system again ??
TIA |

Re: Radiatior fan not working.
Nice one ... thanks ...
So, (sorry probably basic questions) Can I just connect it, and drop it in a mug of hot water to purely test it works ?? Do I run the bike for a while without the radiator cap (or filler cap?) for a while to bleed it ?? |
Re: Radiatior fan not working.
We have fans!?!?!! This is worrying as mines never come on! How do you test its working?
|
Re: Radiatior fan not working.
Run the bike until 100 degs or so .... should kick in ...
if not you're back where I was ... |
Re: Radiatior fan not working.
