i have a mate to do the mechanics for me so i don't mess with lubing the chain and stuff like that normally he also hates using engine oil for the reasons i gave, you get lots of mud/sand sticking together on the sprockets moves the chain away from them causing slipping and possible coming off, which is bad news mid-race.

you keep that clean didn't you?
i can still see blue and stainless steel. does it look like the disc brakes aren't wavey disc brakes, just normally round ones? |

Standard discs on a Gas Gas. Didn't need brakes on that event. Just closing the throttle was enough to bring you to an abrupt halt!
