Yeah you can't have it so it gets ripped off every time you let it roll back 6"!

Have not found this problem with the twin injector, but no doubt Mr Squid will put me right on that :p

I found the dual injector more difficult to set up to be honest and went to the single one.

Either one can be fitted wrong. The most mangled one I've seen was a twin tube. Wwhatever the accessory and whether it works or not - it needs to be fitted right.

My correctly functioning single has been on my bike for more than 120,000 miles.

I have mine at the 5 O`Clock position on the sprocket and set about 4mm away from the chain and the taper is just about off the sprocket , the centrifugal force of oil dispensed onto the sprocket will send it onto the chain . It doesn`t get ripped out when backed up and has worked effortlessly since install , not lost a nib yet .

You need to get it in the right spot so it doesn't get ripped off when backing up.

In other words, not rubbing on the sprocket or chain

The twin injectors seem to be far more unpopular than the single, and as I won't fit a twin spouter to my bike I'm guaranteed my Scottoiler will work nicely. Everyone I know who bought a twin injector has gone back to the single set up.

If you're still in any doubt, or just want some free spares, contact Scottoiler directly. Best customer service I think I've come across for anything, anywhere...although Hood are pretty good too.

Thanks to everyone for their advice and tips. It is much appreciated.

Does anyone have any pics they can upload showing how they have positioned the nib in place. Thanks in advance
