Re: Is this Scotoiler set correctly
Could you fit the terminal between the guard and the fixing point to atleast hide some of it and then have the hose route as you've indicated in red behind the guard too?
Or as metalhead says, get some stick on clips... |
Re: Is this Scotoiler set correctly
there ya go ....just make sure you degrease the swingarm before you stick them on !!
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/METAL-CABLE-CL...item56416e3368 or you could use these .... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/25-16mm-x-16mm...item255e4486ab i'd route the pipe as others have said under the swingarm ..... we use both these type of clips where i work (on hgv's) and as long as you degrease first you'l have no problems with them !! hope this helps.....mick |

Re: Is this Scotoiler fitted correctly?
When I fitted my fenda extenda I roughened it up a bit with sandpaper to give the sealant something to cling onto, tested to (Some) mph and it has not moved, only Tigerseal holding it on.
As for the Scottoiler the OP posted up, thats function over form but it should work just fine. My TuToRo is routed under the swing arm and cant really be seen from the left of the bike, reservoir is on the right behind the rear brake master cylinder. |
Re: Is this Scotoiler fitted correctly?
That looks sh1te. I will take a piccy of mine when I can get at my bike. I did it with the bits in the kit and it looks a lot better than that. I have an L0, which is identical to a K7, 8 9 etc!
I used the stand lift bobbins for mine. You can't even see it! |
