Two hours driving for me, so I'm happy to go there.

Is that 9 mile each way or return?

Not far from me either, I would be up for it depending on dates and finances.

9 total, but the hills make it more. By the end you'll be happy.

We need to make it longer to make it worth the trip IMO, 9 miles is only an hours ride.

+1,

After we had the "sweetie" stop at Dalby Tom, Gareth myself and Mike did that final 8 or so miles without stopping in well under an hour. Considering we didnt start at Dalby until gone 1 and the length of the ride/ time taken filled the day up quite nicely, a similar sized route anything between 15 and 20miles would be ideal for a days outing.

Any way you can encorporate that path into a circular Nick? Make it so that we're increasing the milage a little bit.

What's the point of mountainbiking if you can't get hammered afterwards to dull the pain?

regardless of the **** up I wouldnt really fancy returning home to my chors after a days riding, cooking the bbq and drinking was about all the strength I could muster.

Yes, like I mention, you can go down and around Derwent water and if you want even more Ladybower. Its not as interesting to ride but it will sure shove some mileage on. With Derwent id guess 14-15miles and with Ladybower upper another 5 as well. So can do that as optional depending on how people feel. That ok?
