It's my car in my name .
Its only because we have 6 insured vechles that I can switch it about.
The mini won't be in use this year so no hard ship

If a claim is pending your fault or not at renewal the price is inflated greatly.

The insurers will offer a refund on the difference based on a successful non fault victory, but how much they lower the price by is at their discretion

well my car 3 years ago was written off by a hit and run driver,car was parked at the time,so no one else to claim off,i had protected ncd,and have since renewed the insurance 3 times and not always with the same company,have declared the claim and also put in the max no claims,and my insurance has not gone up at all,the claim has made no differance at all to the quotes,even when using a comparision website,and after all thats what protected ncd is for

Its when you renew whilst the claim is pending not after it has settled..
