I dropped my front forks 8mm and raised the rear around 2.2" and tbh the bike feels great :D next step is sorting out the srpings and oil in the front forks and replacing the rear shock :D need to get the bike preped in time for nurburg :D

I'll probably won't do it since i have a GSXR shock waiting on the shelf, but how did you raise the rear ? Did you replace the linkage ?

The SV650R is approaching it's completion. Next step can only be a big bore kit or buy another bike.

You raise the rear by putting shorter dogbones on. Depends what GSXR shock your putting on I know from experience that a GSXR1000 shock wont fit with shorter bones :D

A 2003 GSXR-750. It's not installed yet because i still have to figure out if it's sprung correctly. My guess is it's undersprung.

Not sure on that one ... I know the old SRAD shocks fit with shorter dogbones... thats what im after .

I have one for sale if you want it. SRAD shock in mint condition. I bought it only to find out it doesn't fit a K3 very well.

Changing the front end seems and easier option - perhaps.

Dogbones are a PoP to fit and I have an NWS stand which you can use if you needed it.
