left toe has tendency to put pressure on the underside of the gearlever
The angle of the lever can be adjusted on the standard foot rests, if that would help?

Really? Great, I had no idea. Owner manual makes no mention of it.
I'll give that a whirl.

The gear selector shaft on which the cam fits is splined; remove and fit at a different angle. You can fine tune by altering the length of the connector rod.

(All the above is theory as I've never actually tried it!)

Now they are tidy - very nice :)

Hmm, I bet they look the dogs danglies on a black framed model... Does the rear brake switch connection work with these, or is there some fiddling to be done?

They'll perhaps fit either way around - increasing the possibilties for positioning.

Don't do this unless you need to move the lever a bloody long way.

Much better.

Undo the locknuts on the gearchange rod - one has a reverse thread, be careful - and rotate the rod, this will make the lever rise and fall.

Probably not as the countersinks are only on one side.

No, need a hydraulic switch. You do get a new (braided) rear hose hose, though.

They will - dont just turn them the other way round, swap the left one over to the right too, then everything will be where it should be.

That's what I was thinking of.
