yea it is from what i can tell, I'm not a big fan of alarms/imobis after being stranded at work when one malfunction'd.

maybe try on the meta website (if they have one) to see if you can download a ma nual from there? They are technically the same after all.

In the time i had that sv which i badly used and abused, thrashed and crashed i had absolutely no problems with the alarm at all

Has anyone else had one of these alarms fitted or had one come with the bike?

Im thinking of getting an alarm... Only thing I dont know what to go for. Im thinking I might stick with meta as im fairly confident that they can do the job. :D

There's numerous alarms that are easy to fit yourself, but if you want the pathetic insurance discount, then get a pro to fit it so you have the certificate.

I have a Cyclone-C11 fitted (with a few additions of my own), and a few others have the same alarm.

At the end of the day, you want to get the balance between not spending a fortune on a bike that's relatively cheap, and not getting something that's crap.

FYI, I wouldn't buy the basic Cyclone (?30) again, I'd opt for the bigger brother (?60) as it has a basic proximity sensor too.

Stick with Meta, they're the best of a bad bunch. I'm no big fan of alarms/immobilisers.

Hmmmm. I dont think id bother with this alarm as tbh it sounds like the company that makes it are talking $hit about how good it is...

I think ill look into either datatool S4 system or meta of some kind.

I dont really want to get a self install alarm tbh.
