re-map for a race can? first ive herd of :? my pipe on my k3 split too but never caused any probs.

yea kwak, i was told they re-map themselves every 15mins or so. put paid to that theory. my bro's 1050 speed triple needed doing as well when he changed his cans. o well we learn something new every day!

Yeah, SV injection doesn't adjust at all for filter or exhaust... It's basically a carb emulator. Though most people get awya with not remapping for just an end can.

i didn't think they adjusted themselves and that you have about a 5% tolerance to play with before it did need adjusting. :?

Well, sorta. You can get a fair bit out of whack before it's noticable... And most bikes aren't perfect when they leave the factory anyway. So the margins of error are good, but if you had a bike that was lean from the factory and fitted more leaning-out stuff, that could cause problems.
