Re: FI light comes on with high sustained speed?
I did my stv and tps less than a month ago...but after that i lso put a tre. Could that be the problem? I'll try to adjust them again cuz i see the tps is not set correctly.

FI light comes on with high sustained speed?
I'd check electrical connections, clean them and spray them up.
How old is the bike? |
Re: FI light comes on with high sustained speed?
Due to my lap top's hdd beeing a bi*ch and not wanti g to work..i'm limited to browse the net on my phone for now. So if you have some valid links of helpful information on this subject it wojld be great, if not...i'll have to browse after a week or so when i fix the lap top. I try to browse youtube cuz it's easier on the phone, and i found a good tutorial about tps on a tl1000.

Re: FI light comes on with high sustained speed?
Hi Dan, I had the same problem and code sometime back and sorted it myself after some hassle. Search my previous posts and see if it helps as the issue never came back and I still have the same bike.

Re: FI light comes on with high sustained speed?
i would also check the connectors associated with the fuel system as one of them might have a furred up pin. this happened to my RR and its a waterproof connector. trouble with waterproof stuff is if water gets in it stays in.
