I understand that buddy, but your bike can be cloned just as easily when out on the road, so kinda... why worry, if its gonna happen its gonna happen.

Que the analogy from somebody...........

I say hide your plate, this is an essential part of modern biking.
You are an outlaw, your exhaust is too loud, you ride too fast, your visor is dark and your number plate is smaller than required. You smack car mirrors, scratch luxury vehicles with knee sliders and scare dementia suffering Daily Mail readers.

The authorities search the interwebs looking for unwashed heathen just like you, so they can stitch you up and make an example of you as a lawbreaker that flouts your illegal doings on the internetz.

They are watching!

You are an outlaw (am i, why), your exhaust is too loud (mine are standard), you ride too fast (ok you got me on that one), your visor is dark (got a caberg with built in legal visor) and your number plate is smaller than required (nope mine is standard). You smack car mirrors (only if needed), scratch luxury vehicles with knee sliders (dont have knee sliders) and scare dementia suffering Daily Mail readers.maybe (once or twice)

I've not realy given it much thought, if I posted a photo I would clear others plates (and mine while I'm at it), if someone posted mine then I don't think I'd make an issue about it.

Re: Why hide your Numberplate

I like to do it sometimes...

http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i2...s/fromrear.jpg

but I doubt I've that much to fear from cloning ;) The argument for, is that many more people can see a pic on the internet than will see the bike parked up, and it's pretty easy to do a google image search if you put the bike model into your photo description.

The argument against is that paranoia rots the brain.
