It may look patchy because of how it's drying if it ain't fully dry yet. Also I'm guessing you're looking at it with the lights on (seeing as it's dark outside) which can make it look worse.
If it still looks bad after a day, just give it another coat tomorrow and take the bulb out tonight :)

If its paint it'll need sanding lightly and then another coat putting over it I expect, but let it dry before you do so emulsion dries pretty quickly so you might get time to give it another coat this evening.

i hope he will see i tried to do a nice thing. im hoping a second coat will do the trick but i dont think il do anymore unless i make it worse!

i tried to take a photo but a pic of a white wall doesn't come out very well

right guys.....stop winding the poor lady up

1... well done for you to attempt to decorate a room, at least it s the spare and yes, its probably drying and seems patchy...looking at it in daylight will probably make it look different

2 ...If your blokes a nice bloke...he'll wind you up for hours then say its not that bad and offer to help you finish it#

3...if he's an **** then carry on and finish it...take your time and prove to yourself you can do it

4....DIZZYBLONDE CAN DO IT--SO CAN YOU.....for being of the single parent variety you have to be a dab hand at DIY.decorating is easy if you take your time.....If I can lay laminate floor, help put in central heating, tile a bathroom and a kitchen, paint, wallpaper, build a fence, be a mum blah, blah, blah, you can do it

JUST DON'T LET ME FIX YOUR BIKE....i'm not a mechanic
