That's good to know about the insurance, that your normal policy covers you. So I guess that includes recovery & track repair costs? I've always had the fear of God put up me about what would happen. Also makes sense (now that you point it out ;)) about not trying to confirm it with your insurance beforehand.

There's always arguments about that. Helmut Dahne does the miss-hit-miss but I'm sure my line is faster ;)

I've heard there are different opinions on how to take the corner, I just thought its name stayed the same...

There is always the Miss-Miss-Miss line ;)

Ring Pure? I got an email from Neil earlier - soooo tempted to book on but can't justify the costs at the moment. The trip over, plus the course, plus a week off work unpaid would mean the trip running to a couple of grand - wifey would not be pleased! :smt019

ALOT of insurance policies now specifically exclude the nurburgring......so check your small print.

I know mine does and I'm with a fairly major insurance company at the moment.

Those courses have shot up because of the exchange rate, almost £900 for the ring Spicy, £650 a couple of years ago. Well I can't go this year as I spent my money on Almeria, 23rd Feb and looking like 18C and sunny as the moment. I defo want to do the Motorrad course again next year

Yep, down for the pure course, not quite enough experience I reckon for the sharp course, but next year.....

As for cost, I've been promising this to myself for years, and the time has come.
