Well after they were all dead it was smashed, removed, wall/rafters washed down etc. Thought that would have been enough!

Wifes says that if you kill a live one near the nest, they can smell it's pheromones, so I guess they have their own scent.

I guess you can't completely get rid of the smell, or they return to a good nest site by natural instinct?
