I just made some!! Only criticism is that they could have done with a bit more salt. Lots of fresh herbs in there, I grabbed a bit of everything outta the garden which includes, but is not limited to, parsley, sage, thyme, chives and a leaf of mint, couple of cloves of garlic and some spring onion. Put a wee bit dried chilli powder in there too.
Only put a wee drop of each herb in as didnt want to overpower them and the mint tasted really nice in there, was surprised as it was really just an experiment. Real test will be what my dad n brother think of them. |

am i blind or has no one mentioned putting chopped fresh onion in with the mince.

last lot i made i chucked in mixed spice and two decent nips of Glenfiddoch- very nice after taste.
Get yourself down to aldis for there dried herbs and spice mixes-the american bar-b-q one is very nice. |

I'll see if I've got time to nip to the aldi at the other side of york - only 3 miles away but the traffic will make it around an hour round trip :)

whatever you use, cover it in english mustard and a sprinkle of Steakhouse pepper.
Failing that Econa hot pepper sauce........yummy |
