Sorted it!! Carb rubbers at cylinder heads loose and front carb balance line was sucking air in ( only a tiny amount though i think ).
Tightened rubbers up and replaced carb line with some fuel injector pipe and fuel clips. Found leaks using wd40 and listening for a change in engine note. Jobs a good un!! Cheers for all your help :-) |

Arrrghhhh!! :-( engine is now trying to die when i blib the throttle but pulls ok when throttle opened smoothly??? Is this an ignition problom? I did grease up the front cylinder to avoid it cutting out in the wet and am wondering if grease has got in the cylinder head? Last time i pulled the front plug out it was clean though??
Im ready for smashing it with a hammer!!!! |
Bike still running rough.
My bike is still not running right and im stuck.
Symptoms - bike is trying to stall at idle when hot. Idle is around 1300 rpm. Oil and petrol light flickering ( with idle at 1300 ) constantly when in traffic. Throttle response is crap. Things checked - plugs & leads checked for spark gap and condition, both good. No damp or crap. isoproponol added to fuel. Carbs checked for air leaks at every pipe and joint using wd40. Engine oil level good. I really am stuck now, is there anything ive missed?? Cheers in advance. :-/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Bike still running rough.
Try changing the plugs, sometimes they look to be ok when you check them but don't function properly when they are insitu.
