Took bike to B&C in farnworth and they'll look at it tomoz or thursday, took about 20 mins to get there and its only a mile away.

Bike kept cutting out every chance it got, and kept misfiring with black smoke coming out the exhaust according to my brother who followed me down.

And my paint pen for my tyres should be here tomorrow :(

Update!!!

Bike was sorted, new spark plugs were needed.

Old plugs were covered in soot/shiz and a change by B&C quickly sorted this.

Just got the work back from the shop my bikes in and he's said it's the throttle position sensor.
Will let you know if its the problem

Hey, any updates on it yet Rich?
Mines developed the original problem, seems the spark plugs musnt be the issue :(

Yes finally got it done. It was the throttle position sensor, bikes running fine now.
Cost me £130 to get it done, £60 pound for the part.
Hope this helps

The sooty plugs are a symptom not a cause. They show that the bike is running very rich.If you took it to a garage they should have done a bit more than just changed the plugs. They should have checked why it was running rich.
