Sorry to hear that.

On a diffrent note my bike broke down within the last 10 mins of my ride.

Few reasons battery just played up and went flat or somthing overheated and cause the battery to die. anyway jump start get home and all is normal again sop my dads to recreate the problem has flattend the battery to see if anything shows up and the dash lights went mental when i cut out.

got a warrenty so dads ring them up and get them out or pick up or work on it at my house but. not a positive start but the bike when runnignrides great so if all is well comke sunday i maybe be up for the ride.
Brake fluctuation aswell when featherignt he brakes at slow speed so hopefully get that sorted aswell.

apart from that im happy with the new bike.

i'll update my situation saturday evening.

Bbadger, shall we guess which one of your many and varied Bike collection you tumbled off?

Anyway, I'm good for Sunday if it's dry.

Woohoo. Laurie on his new toy. DON'T DROP IT! ;)

@Brock - Have ordered a seal kit (not the clubbing type) so I can rebuild the callipers. May take you up on that offer when it arrives. Think I should do the rear too. That might as well not exist. After that I can tackle the other range of problems Laurie didn't spot. He promised to give me money for any hidden issues, but I'll believe it when I see it. About £1000 he owes me so far.

How many more times? They call them rear brakes but they're only there to add ballast. You know my opinion, remove rear brakes completely, reservoir, pipes, lever, calliper and disc and sell them to someone silly enough to buy it! Rear brakes are for panic stricken accident sufferers and those that can't hold their bike on a hill using the clutch. MOT is no prob's, if it aint on the bike they cant test it! I would do this to my bike, only I'm too lazy so mine is a WD40 filled mess that wouldn't work if you jumped on it!:smt018

Nathan, I thought better of you. Rear brakes are very important. How else are you going to do silly little skids? I for one would be gutted if I road over a small gravel road and couldn't lock up the rear wheel for a pathetic 2 foot skid to make myself feel mega cool.
