Default Sat 11th rideout

So the weathers looking nice, the roads should be good and i think we would all enjoy some fish and chips down on the coast.

so Newlands meet from 10:30 and leaving at 11 on the dot.
lunch in brighton about 1ish depending on the pace.

and we even have an option of routes:
head down the a24 for a short blat and then my route
or
down through Cranleigh-Oakley then onto the a24 before jumping across to my route

long route is about 65miles of fast pace nice back roads excluding the a24 bit with the option to do devils dyke and a nice tunnel to really open it up through for the "grin factor" followed by lunch on Madeira drive#

Route back will involve a petrol stop on the m23 where we dive off at the back of devils dyke and follow some long sweeping roads back up towards horsham which will take just over an hour to reach box hill for a break and people can split and go their own ways.

Edit:
All in is just over 100miles with the option for an extra 5/10 mile addons in places if people fancy a good twisty one.

so whos in.

Now this sounds like fun. But I have to get myself de-gingered at 11am that day. Otehrwise I'd have been quite tempted and then headed on to Martianskippy's later for a burger.

Would love to come along.
But here's my issue, I've just traded my sv650s in for gsxr600 and have never ridden a IL4 before im picking up tomorrow and won't have much time to settle before going for a ride like that. Not so much the power or positon but the characteristics of the IL4 will take a few miles of alone riding to get comfy with my new bike and don't want to have to do a ride out with people until im settled.

So maybe at another time need to meet some of you guys/girls even though im not the sort of person to do these ride outs.

Hope who ever goes has fun. Fingers crossed for the weather.

You'll be fine chap. I just swapped to a GSXR750. First time I sat on one I did ... fast speeds. After I bought it and road it home, twas a doddle. Much easier to ride than the SV in my opinion. Plus any rideout with Brock at the front is suitable for mobility scooters and children on tricycles.

Don't worry about pace. Fallout's so slow that when he had his rear-facing camera it got covered in squashed flies who had mistimed their overtakes.
