I've been hankering after a Sprint, but a couple of reviews I've read recently have slated them for the finish, which has only become apparent after a year or so. Shame really, but I don't know what effect it will have on me buying one. I'll probably stick with the SV - it's super and much better than I am (or will probably ever be)

I thought the same with the demo 675 down at the local dealer. Was only a few months old but boy did it look tired from being out in the rubbish weather. Being caned all the time prob didnt help.

Only thing that puts me off the ZX6 is the Suzuki dealer saying the resale price will be rubbish in a few years as they have sold so many of them  And he said this whilst trying to sell me on a new GSX750. I guess its expected with a big boys toy anyway as they're not the most practical of machines.

I think the resale value would be very good for the ZX6.

The dealer and private sellers in my area were only asking £500 less for 2 year old 10k examples than I paid for my new pre reg'd one. With the 636 likely to be replaced with a 599 they should hold their value even better.

As always the poor corrosion resistance will determine resale value so don't use in the wet or from Oct to March if you want some money back at the end!

Still I'd get a Gixxer 750 if I could afford to insure it.
