Re: got broken in to lastnight
Bring back national service thats what i say, kids have no respect at all.
To be honest the only things they need is a good fu**ing kicking to make them wish they had never been born. You are right nothing will come of it as the pink and fluffy brigade will protect them!! Oh lets send them to Barbados for a month cos they havent commited an offence for 24hrs. Makes my blood boilL I might teach my daughter to become a criminal so she can get rewards and holidays. Its like this ADHT boll*cks!! NO its just kids that need a bloody good slap and some dicipline in their lifes!! Sorry on my:rant: again. but i am sure my cmmments will stir some interesting replies! |

Violence. Ah yes, the answer to all of life's problems. Yes of course things have gone too far and there is next to no respect for anyone else's property or other people's rights. But in my experience this is every bit as much true of people who should know better. Premiership footballers who bugger off after a serious road accident or shoppers who ding other peoples' cars in the car park and don't leave a note. Managing directors who steal millions from their companies. People who let their dogs sh*t on the pavement and don't clear it up. You complain about kids having no respect, but have you ever stopped to think that they too might never have been shown any respect? Don't we reap what we sow? So if we dish out violence, shouldn't we expect violence back? I think so. |

I do belive that there is a chronic breakdown in the respect and behaviour od the teeens of today, even compared to when i was 15/16 only 12 years ago. But the reasons for it are deep and complex not something that can be easily discussed on this forum without leading to athread way to long. I do belive that dicipline and punishment for breaking the law and rules are what they need rather than the pink and fluffy brigade wanting to cuddle them and reward them for behaving at school etc (when they should be doing that anyway). Why should a disruptive pupil who behaves for a week get a reward, where as the remainding 99% who behave all year get nothing?? It pretty much sums up all that is wrong with the society in the UK today and our so called legal system. |

I'm not the only 'org member who happens to have a child with a mental disorder. Just in my case that no Hyperactivity is involved. Discipline, yes, outright punishment, no. EDIT: gettin2dizzy, bugger that you were broken into, but perhaps they should of got in properly. Those ice picks sound handy. Nice that you're taking it so well though. Thought about moving in to Fort Knox? |
