Surely in good old England this just means 'kids having a laugh', not 'gang-related' ! I have been seeing trainers / other laced shoes slung over wires for at least twenty years.

I live in warrington nearly all my life and i've seen loads of times from when I was at school to present day.
As for the meaning, I think it depends on where you live. Around here it's usually kids having a laugh or bullying, not gang related at all. I've also seen Bra's, knickers, belts and the odd T.shirt. At shell Island there was quite a few bra's hanging from one particular tree. I have no idea what that was all about |

If trainers on phone line be of both same foot then maybe answer more be simple? maybe trainers be stolen from shop and ladron be chased by Poli? Thief be throw trainers away to not be caught with evidence.Big throw see them catch on phone line?:confused:
