Remove the screw, its the only way as the bar end is like a big washer.

Except by friction and pressure, which can be enough- I removed mine this way. It can work.

Just jesting fella! You could try drilling into the screw head and inserting a screw extractor in and turning that, they've worked wonders for me in the past

Come up with a new plan. Drill the head to free the bar end. Bend the remaining part of the screw enough to be able to get some leverage on it using small hollow bit of metal.
