Standard size plate for me :)

Yes I have a race can but its not the sort of thing that stands out to plod.
I do remember reading something about the plate size and letter spacing a few years ago.
It was something along the lines that the digital cameras couldnt read the italic fonts/different spacings so thats why the plod became hot on enforcing the "legal" requirements.

The plate size really doesnt bother me, I cant see it when I'm riding anyway!

Just got a new one as i think someone nicked my old one outside my gf's house. You need 3 types of ID to get one. Perfectly legal.

you can get them off ebay with no ID.

cheaper too.

And that's how a chunk of cloning problems arise: tosspot sees identical car/bike, copies down the reg number and then uses one of the online services to get a plate made up so they can dodge fines.
