Re: Sat 11th rideout
Yes, newlands.
Now just assume for the moment I have no idea what the hell that is because I live near southampton. Just as a hypothetical exercise of course. |
Re: Sat 11th rideout
You can ride up to mine first Ad and follow me down.
... hang on. I don't have a clue where it is either. |
Re: Sat 11th rideout
Well I put it in google and we have quite a choice, apparently newlands is quite a popular name.
Bit obvious for my taste but each to their own. |
Re: Sat 11th rideout
newlands corner into google maps.
its just east of guildford town centre ontop of a hill on a corner of the A25 ( shere road ) Go up the a3 come off at Guildford, through the town centre, past the leisure centre, keep going until you hit a big junction with lots of traffic lights and about 4 lanes then go right up the hill...andd.....taadaaaa theres a corner with a cafe and car park and lots of bikes. basically go for the a25. if you hit dorking youve gone to far and must turn back! |
Re: Sat 11th rideout
Any basingstokers meeting beforehand at the holiday inn?
|
Re: Sat 11th rideout
Can meet you there to save you coming up to my place. Not 100% sure I'm in yet though. Lots of brake problems atm. Think discs could be warped as I'm getting pulsing through the lever.

Re: Sat 11th rideout

Re: Sat 11th rideout
I can't come.
Basically a problam with the rectifier so when the bike gets hot after even a short 10 minute ride its just cuts out when i come to a stop at any point. Also i mentioned my brake fluctuation and after they test rode it and he obviously was being a complete **** as firstly said he did'nt feel anything then i said could you replace them anyway under the warrenty as i just bought the bike and his answer was no so im stuck with a loan bike to get home as i leave it with them anyway to fix it. Ring my dad he contacts them and has a further talk about the brakes and got a similar response to me and has said that its best to get all my money back as they have sold me a bike that not fit to ride as the brake don't function as they should and they sold it to me and are'nt willing to fix the problem as the disc's are expensive and don't come under the warrenty so im now in all sorts of trouble. Anyway as my dads more experienced when it comes to this stuff he advised me to get all my money back and just go somewhere else. As far as my SV goes they can keep it i still want a GSXR so might aswell sit with out a bike for a week or two unitl i find a good buy. |
