Someone i know has one - immense looking car, especially when he started using it for work!

The chances of anyone doing really quick 0-60's on the road is pretty slim. The car/bike has to be in a suitable state of tune and the driver/rider also has to be on form.
In general, most bikes should leave most cars, the power/weight ratio is in our favour and very powerful cars have problem getting the power down on normal roads. However, there are a few cars driven by "good" drivers that will give you a run for your money, especially if they get away half a second or so before you. When I had a head to head with an M3 the conversation between us was something like: Me "4.2 litres and over £30k ? This is 600cc and only £6k" (I was on my Gixer) Him "Maybe, but I don't get wet when it rains and get the family in too" See, it's all relative..... But it's all about fun isn't it ? . |
Steve....So that makes it that his super dooper car is only priced at 4pence per cc more than your Gixxer was? Difficult to make financial sense about owning a bike isn't it? :P

My cat can do 0-60 in about 2 seconds flat. Now that's impressive. Must be the 4 leg drive thing. Just need to figure out a way to attach a seat and some renthals to her.
