Suzuki GSXR K5 600 Radial Master Cylinder + Lever
Having a clearout,
This is surplus - MC is in good working order with no marks. Comes complete with reservoir, reservoir mounting bracket and good brake lever. Also comes with a bent lever that you are welcome to throw away or keep in the toolbox as a 'get outta trouble' spare. Looking for [PRICE=£65] posted 1st class recorded. Will work with a multitude of other bikes also! Perhaps the whole GSXR family. Came from a 7K mile GSXR 600 K5 but would work with the SV650 no problems, have one on mine! Got it with me today so can post today so you could have it tomorrow/Thursday. |

Nice Gixerbot friendly ad ;) ;)
So how much of an upgrade would this be? do you think it would fit a G1 ZX6R? I'm guessing Clip ons are std 22mm size? & this is everything up to the brake lines? And there's a brake light switch connector? :???: |

where do the lines attach? i can see the bleed nipple on top but nowhere that thelines attach? is it underneath? And what about how much of an upgrade this would be? is it a matter of matching a radial lever to radial calipers? :???: or each of those would be better than non radial? Cheers :) |

I dont know how they work on 6pots, ive got them on GSXR 4pots on the SV and its way more than enough, sharp, i like it. |
Re: Suzuki GSXR K5 600 Radial Master Cylinder + Lever
Radial M/C works fine with axial calipers.
Radial M/C is more rigid. |

Thanks

Re: Suzuki GSXR K5 600 Radial Master Cylinder + Lever
Piston area is only difference that matters. More pistons but same size MC = more advantage. But go too far and you won't move enough fluid to get the pistons to contact the disc.
Try it, I think it will work if the brake lines are ok. |

Why would it not work just the same on 6 pots? |

try it, nothing to loose and if you dont like it you can allways fit the MC to your SV or sell it again for the same money as you bought it. |

Re: Suzuki GSXR K5 600 Radial Master Cylinder + Lever
For those same MC has been found to work, lots of TLR people swap from those to 4 pots without incident. This says to me they are similar.
(It is possible that the 6 pots have smaller pistons, meaning the difference in area is not so great) |
Re: Suzuki GSXR K5 600 Radial Master Cylinder + Lever
Morning Stu, TSM and Yorkie!!
I've had these on the Tokico 6 pots and to be honest - I think they are better suited to 4 pots! On 4pot radial or axial these work best. For an upgrade master cylinder for the 6pots - your best off with a brembo race MC - probably a 19x20, But like TSM said, you could always buy and try... P.s. - the 6 pots do have smaller pistons... (at least two different sizes in the same half of the caliper! |

If Stu doesn't have it, I will - for my K4 GSXR tokico four pots.
