FAO those in Teesside and surrounding areas

Could you guys just leave a quick note of where you're roughly located on this thread so we know who's local? With the massive covering such a large area, it would be nice to know that theres a sort of sub group within it. Would also help to organise local meetups for rideouts

Moi - Stockton on Tees area.

needed to get on the property ladder before the house prices.
We were looking down in Doncaster but didn't find anything we really liked, looked up this area and bingo found a place in price range with semi 3 bed / garage.
so were here now and liking it.:)

Porky, see the Catherine Wheel run on the 14th April. Quite a few of us locals are going to do it - you could meet us on the way to meet the others

I'm in Sadberge, just outside Darlo, on the way to Stockton.
(originally frae Glesca by the way) - that's Glasgow when speaking in posh English voice.

Anyone doing Easter Egg run on Easter Sunday to Darlington Memorial Hospital????????????????????????

I'm from Darlo but am currently living in Carlisle. I'm often back in the mighty Darlo though and can do rideouts as and when I'm back. I assume that most of the people in the area know about the Boundary 500 ride out.

In Great Ayton (Between Stokesley and Guisborough). Bike has just gone in for its MOT then I need to get it UK registered....almost there.

Then you'll be paying a visit to Stockton then to do that like I did. be prepared for a long wait, take a ticket and sit down (ps, take a flask of tea/coffee).

Tim in Belgium 31-03-07 08:32 PM

Re: FAO those in Teesside and surrounding areas

Yep, one step at a time, although it's still registered and insured so it's road leal(ish). Hopefully bringing it up to Teesside next weekend at some stage assuming it gets throughthe MOT, with either some judicious lift blagging, or getting Dad to bring it up in the sheep trailer (don't ask....).

I was down in the DVLA office last week to get my car tax sorted and was first in the Queue. Just make sure you get there early and you'll be fine.
