got broken in to lastnight
about 3am last night some little **** tried to break in my house, he climbed on to the roof and tried to get through a tiny open window. My housemate was sleeping in the room (scary!) and managed to wake up and chase him away - unsurprisingly a kid in a hoodie with a group of mates all on bikes. The police came round at 4am for a statement and all i could hear was her radio reporting more burglary attempts in this immediate area, all matching the description of these kids. Within half an hour there were 4 call outs for these kids! what little ****s! Its just sad that nothing will every come of this, the system protects them far too much. And that they were stupid enough not to try the unlocked front door :P

Re: got broken in to lastnight
Sorry to hear this, but glad they didn't get away with it. Unfortuneately you're right, they probably will get off relatively scot free. Life was better back when you could give little scrotes a good hiding when they stepped out of line

Re: got broken in to lastnight
Bleeders!
Last time I heard someone messing outside (by my bike) at 3am I rushed out with my samurai sword.....only to be confronted by one of my housemates a little the worse for wear. |
Re: got broken in to lastnight
Sorry to hear it mate, bet you,ll lock your front door tonite !

Re: got broken in to lastnight
Next time let the little ****er in and kick the **** out of him. Kill him if you can, it's not like somebody is going to come looking for him is it?
Bloody hell I need to calm down! After Mrs Tiger and I were assaulted by a burglar in our flat we went out and got riotously, stomach-pumpingly drunk with our mates. It helped, but I'm still angry 10 years later... |
Re: got broken in to lastnight
well luckily there was no damage. But with the guys in my house in to ice climbing; they'd break in to find 2 guys with huge ice axes, and me with a baseball bat. Bring it on! :D
oh, and the police came round today for prints, apparently they do 10 a day just in my area. - a small outskirt of manchester with a relatively good safe reputation |
Re: got broken in to lastnight
Aaaah but we all know the scrotes 'commute' to the nicer areas to commit burglary.

Re: got broken in to lastnight
about 4 years ago me and a friend of mine found an intruder, and it was a burgler walking in to his bedroom where his mrs was asleep, the guy had come through the bathroom window, and had already been in his childs room and taken his psp, ps2, and games..
again dark hoodie and a big duffle bag, he turned round and saw us standing there then pulled a knife out.. he tried a few times with the knife untill my friend grabbed him and i proceeded to destroy his face, sounds quite grim. but we took him down and handcuffed him (dont ask as they were fluffy lol, ) the police were round in minutes and it was al over, we had to go to court but we won on grounds of reasonable force was used, as the offender tried to turn it on us?? id do it tomorrow again if some one was in my house. |

Anybody else think it's wrong that victims of crime have to defend themselves in court. Guilty until proven innocent here in the UK  My neighbour's car got broken into, 2 kids in hoods, about 3am. |
Re: got broken in to lastnight
bummer! where abouts do you live? i used to see this so often, the kids didn't even look to steal things, just destroy windows. The other night kids stole the painted bit of my housemates wing mirrors, then stamped on them in the street. A good £100 for a replacement....

Re: got broken in to lastnight
My sister recently had a second arson attack on her fence - luckily she woke up and she (with the help of a neighbour) put it out. The bad news is that this is about the 14th attack in the neighbourhood, and everyone is sure they know who is doing it (young pyro with **** for brains) - but the cops cant do anything until they catch him in the act! What happens if it happens again near her front door and she doesnt wake up in time??

Re: got broken in to lastnight
I know all the talk of weapons is cool but Sky did a good programme where they broke into willing volunteers houses to see how they would cope, the burglar was the SAS guy who wrote bravo two zero.
Most guys who picked up the weapon went to pieces and SAS guy leapt on them and showed he could basically have destroyed them. Only one guy (bouncer) kept his nerve. Best advice was to be calm, firm and not block the exit, there's too many freaks out there. |
Re: got broken in to lastnight
Andy McNab's the name isn't it?
That said it would be unfortunate if you were burgled/attackd by someone with special forces training. |
Re: got broken in to lastnight
The burglar who attacked us was no SAS guy but he was a 6 foot junkie.:pale:
Theoretically of course I had home advantage but playground skills and Marquis of Queensbury rules aren't much cop against a bloke trying to punch you in the balls and head butt you. I didn't block the exit... |

Re: got broken in to lastnight
Bring back national service thats what i say, kids have no respect at all.
To be honest the only things they need is a good fu**ing kicking to make them wish they had never been born. You are right nothing will come of it as the pink and fluffy brigade will protect them!! Oh lets send them to Barbados for a month cos they havent commited an offence for 24hrs. Makes my blood boilL I might teach my daughter to become a criminal so she can get rewards and holidays. Its like this ADHT boll*cks!! NO its just kids that need a bloody good slap and some dicipline in their lifes!! Sorry on my:rant: again. but i am sure my cmmments will stir some interesting replies! |

Violence. Ah yes, the answer to all of life's problems. Yes of course things have gone too far and there is next to no respect for anyone else's property or other people's rights. But in my experience this is every bit as much true of people who should know better. Premiership footballers who bugger off after a serious road accident or shoppers who ding other peoples' cars in the car park and don't leave a note. Managing directors who steal millions from their companies. People who let their dogs sh*t on the pavement and don't clear it up. You complain about kids having no respect, but have you ever stopped to think that they too might never have been shown any respect? Don't we reap what we sow? So if we dish out violence, shouldn't we expect violence back? I think so. |

I do belive that there is a chronic breakdown in the respect and behaviour od the teeens of today, even compared to when i was 15/16 only 12 years ago. But the reasons for it are deep and complex not something that can be easily discussed on this forum without leading to athread way to long. I do belive that dicipline and punishment for breaking the law and rules are what they need rather than the pink and fluffy brigade wanting to cuddle them and reward them for behaving at school etc (when they should be doing that anyway). Why should a disruptive pupil who behaves for a week get a reward, where as the remainding 99% who behave all year get nothing?? It pretty much sums up all that is wrong with the society in the UK today and our so called legal system. |

I'm not the only 'org member who happens to have a child with a mental disorder. Just in my case that no Hyperactivity is involved. Discipline, yes, outright punishment, no. EDIT: gettin2dizzy, bugger that you were broken into, but perhaps they should of got in properly. Those ice picks sound handy. Nice that you're taking it so well though. Thought about moving in to Fort Knox? |

Excatly my point. I do not mean to cause offence to anyone on the org. there is a differance between genuinly difficult childeren and the ones who need some dicipline. however i do belive that people nowadays seek lables for naughty kids just so they can absolve themselves from all responsability when it comes to their behaviour etc. "oh i am am not a bad parent, little jonny is not really a viciouse delinquent its ADHD dont you know" i think there are alot of people who would be happy to hide behind a convinient lable. |
