what to do with the belt when removing the rear wheel on a buell
 
my mate needs a tyre on his buell but what happens with the belt tensioner?
is it just a case of remove it or what? anyone ever messed with a buell back wheel?

what buell is it. Im indoors requires the detail so he can give you the answer.

the standard tensioner is fixed and held on by a couple of bolts and needs to be removed, however most people change this for the trojon horse spring one which you can just push back, so it depends on if this has been changed.

this was on a XB9S. not having worked on a 12 I can't say if this is the same on them.

yea its the standard xb12r set up with the fixed tension wheel, will pass the info onto my mate with the buell, he will thank you for your input.
