Arrochar to Inverary
 

Hi just wondering if any of you peeps have video footage of this stretch of road as me and a few northern yobs are heading that way in july and i fancy an advanced look at this fabled piece of road...

also any other great stretches you peeps can tell me about

Big roundabout between Alexandria and Balloch OK? (Got some weird piece of 'art' on it, can't miss it.) Everything north of that and everything west of that. Everything.

A little more helpfully, try Good Biking Roads In Scotland and Post Your Best Roads both threads of this parish.

For me it's the A890 between Kyle of Lochalsh and Achnasheen. Bloody hell.

If your going up in July WATCH OUT for the police!!

They watch the roads around arrochar and inverary, rest and be thankfull, and loch lomond side like Hawks!!

Amazing to see so many bikes but you also get loads of under cover filth! douh!! :(

if you let us know when you are planning on doing it, we could maybe get some of the posse over to show you the road

its my favorite road. over the military road to garelochead, along wibbly wobbly to arrochar then round to inverary. arrochar to inverary is good with no scary bits.

there are always unmarked cars in the area especially coming down past rest and be thankful
