Mobile CCTV moving?
 
I was riding along doing 40 ish on a 40 road when one of these went passed on the opposite side (driving not stationary) am i looking at a N.I.P?

I'm not 100% confident, but I think they have to be stationary to do the job.

1 hydraulic mounted ptz camera equipped with Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR)
1 'Metal Mickey' ptz dome camera mounted at the front of the vehicle which can be used by the operator whilst the vehicle is in motion."

no mention of speed measurement on there - anpr will be for stolen/untaxed/uninsured vehicles.

They mainly use them at football matches, public events and outside schools if there's going to be trouble.

i was besides a Smart car one at the lights in Clapham so took a long look ...surprised to see the dome (the size of a cricket ball )stciking out of the roof doesnt have a lens looking a t anything...it revolves at a constant speed but wtf - looked more like a radar set up ?:confused:
